About Us

Hello, and welcome to MoneyPressure.co.uk. My name is Sandra McAlister and I am a Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

Moneypressure.co.uk offers a fresh approach to dealing with financial difficulties. We are proud to be a leading UK provider of debt solutions, including debt management plans and Individual Voluntary Arrangements. Over the years we have helped a great many people from all walks of life regain control of their finances by arranging both formal or informal debt arrangements with their creditors. Arrangements that can offer the same protection for everybody by providing the necessary breathing space to get you out of debt and back on track.

I make it my business to ensure that we treat each of our clients as people, not reference numbers. That we personally work with you and your creditors from day one forming a close working relationship that will last throughout the period of your plan.

Unlike many self proclaimed ‘debt specialists’ we are licensed insolvency practitioners.

What is a licensed insolvency practitioner?

Technically speaking, an insolvency practitioner is a professionally qualified person who is licensed to advice and act in relation to an insolvent individual, partnership or company.

In plain English, and as far as you are concerned, it is someone who knows how to resolve the sometimes grim financial situations people find themselves in as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

Insolvency practitioners are not only licensed but are also required to have professional indemnity insurance, as well as specific insurance on a case-by-case basis.

In addition, they will be regulated by one of a number of bodies, for example we are regulated by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

And believe it or not, we are human, too. A lot of people expect us to be stern, Dickensian characters dressed in dark suits and are pleasantly surprised when we speak the same language as they do and are actually warm and sympathetic.

So, for impartial, high quality, non-judgemental advice that is FREE about the options available to you.
